Who requires an ocular prosthesis?

Anyone who has had surgical removal of a natural seeing eye due to trauma or disease. Also, to correct orbital congenital anomalies. An ocular prosthetic or scleral cover shell prosthesis not only helps fill a void of a missing eye, it helps maintain orbital bone and eyelid structure as well as necessary eyelid function. An important function in our orbital health.

Hello

My name is Philomena

Thank you for taking the time to visit my web-site. I'm a Board Certified Ocularist and have been an ocularist practitioner for more than thirty years. Prior to developing my company Eyes of Hope Ocular Prosthetics, LLC, in Florida, I worked with Mager & Gougelman, Inc. in New York. It was my great pleasure and honor to make and fit ocular prosthetics for thousands both young and old alike.  I pride myself in caring for everyone with an attention to detail and compassion for their loss. I'm always  available for your questions and if I can help you with your transition from eye loss to wearing an eye prosthesis, I'm here to help.
